Jenifer A. Aventuro Luck, MD

Dr. Aventuro Luck earned her Medical Degree, a Master’s Degree in Human Physiology, and completed both her Ophthalmology Residency and Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Georgetown University. In addition to being elected to the Medical Honor Society Alpha Omega Alpha, Dr. Luck was further honored in medical school with awards for outstanding academic performance and superior demonstration of the art of medicine.

Dr. Luck is still very involved with Georgetown University School of Medicine. Her clinical practice emphasizes pediatric ophthalmology with special interests in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of strabismus, the prevention and management of amblyopia (lazy eye), ocular evaluation in children with learning disabilities, the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric ocular disorders.

Dr Luck works in partnership with primary care physicians in the diagnosis and care of systemic illnesses such as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes mellitus and neurofibromatosis.
